Life Responds to Effort
āIām not where I want to be, but Iām exactly where Iām supposed to be.ā
Ya itās a little cheesy, but isnāt it refreshing?
Maybe you feel ābehindā or āstuckā or maybe youāre even considering making a huge life or business change.
Instead of looking outward for confirmation on how youāre doing in life, choose to look inward.
Are you living a life in sync with your values?
Do you keep the promises you make with yourself?
Are you cheering yourself on or are you fully relying on others to do that for you?
I believe the sooner we tap into our inner selves, the happier weāll be.
Now with all that being said, that doesnāt mean you can just sit there and āattractā everything on your vision board.
Life responds to effort!
And when your effort aligns with your inner voice, thatās where the true magic happens.
Here are 3 ways to make sure youāre putting in the maximum effort everyday:
Intentional Planning
Are you making consistent steps towards your ultimate vision?
Or are you reacting and hoping you get something done?
Iām not going to give you a talk on āthis is how you should schedule your dayā, but I will encourage you to look at how you use your time.
What things should you NOT be doing that youāre doing on a consistent basis?
Maybe you do get some stuff done, but just enough to get by.
Do you find yourself completing a task and then spending the next hour scrolling on Instagram to reward yourself for your efforts?
Maybe itās time to replace that with a short 15 minute walk.
Are you doing more maintenance tasks than move-the-needle tasks?
There needs to be a balance, otherwise those big dreams you have will struggle to exist.
So take some time to write out what an intentional day looks like for you.
Keep The Promises You Make With Yourself
Too many people lack the self-awareness to realize they are directly affecting their own self-confidence when they donāt do what they said they were going to do.
You were intentional about planning your day, now be intentional about how you spend your day!
This is where most people fall flat on their face.
When it comes time to get off the couch and actually complete something, the struggle can be real.
I think weāve become so accustomed to living a life high on dopamine from endless hours in front of a screen, that we donāt realize how addicted we are to only doing things that are ācomfortableā.
If this is a problem for you, I suggest you create a plan to replace the majority of unnecessary screen time with something else that helps you level up.
Once I realized how my daily actions directly impacted my inner voice and confidence, I made it a point to keep the promises I made with myself.
And my life hasnāt been the same since!
Surround Yourself With Others Chasing Their Dreams
Entrepreneurship and being a content creator can often times be a lonely road.
And I think we each need a genuine support system of some sort to keep us sane and moving forward.
Thereās nothing more motivating than having a group of solid friends who believe in you and push you to succeed.
When youāre cheering them on and theyāre doing the same for you, you canāt help but think positively about where youāre headed.
And it refocuses your energy on the tasks that actually matter and turns you away from the ones that donāt.
This is one of the reasons why I started Happy Creatiive Coaching.
I noticed an incredible amount of creators that just needed that community aspect to help them level up and get āunstuckā.
And Iām extremely grateful to be a small part of it!
We all have incredible potential inside of us, sometimes we just need a supportive community to help us realize it.
I hope these tips helped you get more clear on where youāre headed in your life.
Letās get after itšš»

Adobe is facing backlash over changes to its Terms of Service, which users interpret as allowing Adobe to access their content, including sensitive data, for AI training purposes. Users express concerns about privacy and the potential use of their work to improve AI models. Adobe states that no policy changes were made, only clarifications. Despite reassurances, the ambiguity and implications for privacy have led some users to consider canceling their subscriptions.

DJI drones could potentially be banned in the US, spurred by the "Countering CCP Drones Act" that recently passed unanimously in the House Energy and Commerce Committee. The legislation is driven by concerns about national security and economic competition. Representative Elise Stefanik argues that DJI's ties to the Chinese government present a security risk, pointing to past vulnerabilities that allowed potential data access by Chinese officials. Another motive is to boost the domestic drone industry by reducing DJI's dominant market share, which was 58% of the commercial market in 2022.
The bill, if enacted, could prevent new DJI products from entering the US market and even retroactively revoke existing Federal Communications Commission (FCC) approvals, potentially grounding drones already in use. DJI strongly refutes the security allegations and emphasizes its contributions to public safety and various industries, from real estate to agriculture.
This legislative push follows increased scrutiny of Chinese tech companies, similar to the actions taken against TikTok. DJI is advocating for security standards based on actual practices rather than the country of origin and is working with lobbyists to counter the bill.
Will be interesting to see if this ban actually goes through and how it will effect content creators.
